Intelligent Deconstruction Review of Fallout 3

I figure, now that FO3's actually out, the best we can hope for is a leakage of Van Buren from somewhere once it's safe. Bethshit's got their money now, less likely to cry to mommy.

I think we can also expect that, once the CS is released, we will see a glut of mods that bring the Fallout back to Fallout 3. Remember, with a CS you can add NPCs, dialog, locations, modify stats and items - whatever you want.

I would love to see someone do something that creates a large city akin to New Reno in FO2. There's plenty of space on the map that is taken up with nonsense. I'm sure we could find a spot to put something.

^ one can hope for mods, but mods rarely fix broken game mechanics. Also, I do not see any mods rewriting all the horrible dialogue. Unless there's an option for custom modules, there's not much good to expect.

Ehm, you can hope for it, but Van Buren wasn't anywhere close to finished (that released tech demo wasn't that far from how far they had gotten) so that isn't actually going to happen.

I think I've come up with a better analogy/final opinion of Fallout 3.

Fallout 3 is the Fallout equivelant of Six Flags to Warner Brothers properties.

It was finished in about 70% Sandy.
