Interested in a Pipboy 2000?

No one will buy it if isnt wrist worn.

I should make a functional one with green led's. Probably cost people 200 bucks though.

ok that too is a project. I havent had one in a long time!

Well I think I will let them make up their own minds. I'm sure if it's a good product then people will want to buy one.

And I am almost done my prototype so it should only be a day or two before I've got pictures to show. Check back soon.

Just put a coat of primer on my prototype and need to finish a few small details. The goal is to have it finished towards the end of April....more updates soon!

I can't believe I never updated this thread but I've been so busy this last year. I worked to get the most accurate looking pipboy and I think I did a pretty cool job. Even the second button is missing. Right now I'm finishing a new silicone mold so I'll have these available at my site again soon.

Here is the prototype with details finished, screen was taken out for sanding.

Oh man, that looks awesome.
I haven't seen any other 2000 replica anywhere (good one, that is).

Post more pics soon!

Edit: Just now have I seen the finished product on the site (thanks FK). I also agree on his points, but yes, it is really nice.

Is that a pic of the finished product on your site? Looks pretty awesome, though the flatness of the top left display for the time and date looks a bit odd and the bottom left looks unfinished. The screen and frame looks awesome though. Would be worth the price if I ever had a need for something like that.

Thanks guys. The one pictures on my site isn't the final copy but I wanted to put something there for reference since I'm not ready to offer finished pipboys. It's actually my paint practice piece. I do have kits available though that you can paint yourself.

Before the finished ones will be offered I've got to finish two things:
-the upper left piece is missing in the picture but is being remolded now.

-stencils, to finish all of the lettering.

Once I get the work done I'll post pictures. Also, I'm sending out one of the first kits from the new mold. I'll upload pictures of that in a few days.

I love how the overseer says that we upgraded the Pip boy 2000 to show you how many days are left until the vault runs out of water with a sticky note in the corner. Did your character replace it everyday or something? Cool design btw.

and one of them was owned by the Vault Dweller and later the Chosen One

The wiki doesn't state this.

The original Pip-Boy 2000 is a handheld device.

is it another form of Tablet PC?
and do touchscreen exists there? remember in FO world. electronics aren't a main focus while Nukes do. Semiconductors are only a recent tech. the IC may and may not even exists AT ALL meow.

Very interested in purchasing this. Do you have pricing details? With or without paint (I would be able to paint it myself, I love doing that stuff)?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see this is an ancient thread. Boo!
