International Youth Day Parody Art Roundup

Orderite
A special Parody Art edition of the normal Fan Art roundups. There haven't been a lot of serious fan-art submissions lately. Just this excellent render by MikeMS:

<center></center>
This great pixel art piece by Hartigan.

<center></center>
And the excellent Fallout 3-inspired desolate railways by Jaaz.

<center></center>
Otherwise, this has been a period of parody art. To wit, we present Fallout Fantasy and Bloodier Mess by Seymour the spore plant, mershunz by Scabble, THE INNOVASHUN by radnan and Failout 3 by Herbert West.

<center> </center>
Sigoya had the bright idea to upload a famous piece by Duck and Cover's St. Toxic, which I don't think has been available on NMA before.

<center></center>
Also worth a highlight is Happy Music by the returned lost prodigal son alec, in response to the debate concerning radios and sneaking.

<center></center>
Public brought us this quite funny Fallout:BoS-reminiscent Fallout 3 trailer.

And to see how this new sequel is affecting our modders, one need only look here.

I love how he interjects "so awesome" in the middle of the rocket being shot at the Sentry Bot.

That's just so spot-on of this type of trailer. Dude should consider a career making FPS-trailers.

some really funny stuff here.

but you can't possibly consider yourself having an objective view on Fallout 3 with news posts like this. this is exactly why people think you're doing an anti-hype campaign.

Spare me your bullshit, you don't think all the "pro fallout 3" folks aren't running a hype machine?

At least here, we're pointing out what flaws are being observed, as well as the positive points.

If you don't like it, GTFO.

it was a response to a post Brother None made in another thread (replying to my post). NMA-ers are surprised about other communities and journalists view on them, yet it's quite obvious why it's like that.

it's one thing to say whatever the hell you want in your forum, but having stuff like that in news posts while still trying to maintain that you're not judging anyone or anything and just trying to do fair coverage is like saying "hey, look at us - we're making fun of Fallout 3 and Bethesda because we think they're f*cking stupid, but we're not trying in any way to put the game in a certain light". contradictory to the max.

I usually like your news coverage, but this is childish and ridiculous. and it has nothing to do with mine or anyone else's views of Fallout 3. it's about you trying to project the image of a serious respectable gaming site (you even call yourself a journalist, right?).

The video is like WOW!!! Incredibly well done. I love it.

Also, the vertibird landing is so cool. So, so cool.

Look what you will see inside box
warning: its not parody, its real ! :o

Do you begin now understand why F3 have primitive gameplay, why you have gun which shoot teddy bears and nuclear catapult? Why its seem to be far from old classic F1 and F2 style, build on Oblivion engine? Yes, its about money, they count possible profits and best decision was to 1. make game dedicated to brand new customers from 9 to 15 age, and 2. game which really need use fast modern computers (because such games are top- selling)

BTW in my opinion they should make real V13 flask, instead of this trash, ofcourse metal flask usualy holding alcohol, and game is made for kids, so this option was not accepted

I think Per deserves a mention for this:

We actually had an original idea at Mutants Rising and are going to go a step further than copying someone else's idea for a teddy bear gun and we will be adding a teddy bear grenade. I know what you are all thinking "But it's not Fallout 3 canon, you can't do that!" but we at MR feel this is a worthy edition to the FO universe.
