According to former BIS'er, Krazikatt on the thread on Winterwind, Interplay doors have been padlocked, and the staff told to file for unemployment.

Krazikatt said:<blockquote>"Well, from what I hear the doors of the building have been padlocked... and HR told them all to fill out the forms for unemployment... sooooo, I can't see anything over there living much longer."</blockquote>Is this the end at hand?

UPDATE: in the comments to this newspost, Krazikatt said:<blockquote>I was wrong!

I just heard from someone who saw this quote (you guys are always getting me in trouble!) that the doors are not padlocked and they are still operating as normal.</blockquote>Additionally in Gamespot's "Herve speak" article was this bit:<blockquote>
On Thursday, visitors to the Interplay offices found the doors locked, but some employees were lingering outside the back. While expressing optimism about the company's prospects, the workers admitted they hadn't been paid in weeks and had heard that there was a chance that Arden Realty, Interplay's landlords, were going to padlock the offices by the end of the week.</blockquote>

Saint told me they closed yesterday, ahead of schedule. Let`s see what comes out in a few hours.

FUCK this is bad anyone who lives near there go now and maybe they left a computer with fallout 3 files or something. "What a chance" or beter go kill hovever made IPLY broke. THe second idea is warmer to my heart.

I wonder what's gonna happen to all the goodies left over from the FO1/2 devteams (like clay heads). It'd be a shame if they throw it in a garbage truck.

I'd imagine either:

1. Someone on high keeps them
2. Auction
3. Garbage

I'm guess a bit of 1, but mostly 2

Yeah, I would imagine they'll scramble for whatever cash they can squeeze out of it.

Wonder if Sean will get the ping-pong table?

Ya, I should go down to Irvine and raid the joint...

In other news, Caen Season is officially open, so gather your shotguns, wits, and stamina, cause it looks like the Caen is fully loaded. With cash, commodities, and other assets and can run a long time on his drainings....err I mean earnings from Iply, it seems he might be home free. Don't let it get away!

For the people involved, Interplay finaly closing down is a bad thing.. However i'm going to try and look on the bright side, we might be drawing closer to finding where the Fallout licence goes :)

(unless of course it gets into the wrong hands)

I was wrong!

They aren`t operating as normal, Krazzi, but yeah, the backdoor is open and people are working there. Not many though...

Edit: and i would post that too Pope_Viper, since i even had more confirmation, you did well, again sorry for always getting you in trouble Krazzi :)
