InXile joinins the Microsoft family

I think I'm scared.

I backed Wasteland 3 with a hefty sum. As long as that game releases unhindered then that's all I care.
I would expect short term benefits, as InXile will get access to resources they've never had before.
On the other hand, we all know what tends to happen to small game studios which were purchased by giants. That said, that is hopefully many years down the road.

Eventually the original, creative members/leads of the team leave for greener pastures. It's a natural progression of sorts... the ship of Theseus - is the studio still the same studio after the top heads in the studio just up and leave and the owning company has replaced them with whoever?

I'm curious to see how long Bioware lasts if Anthem flops and/or Casey Hudson just leaves the company.
