Well today marked the lowest place for the IPLY stock, it was at $0.048 which is an all time low for them. It also closed at $0.048 per share today, the lowest it's been in this 52 week period

The guys over at the Raging Bull forums must be ripping out their hairs by now and they are now really getting anxious, here's a small quote:<blockquote>I keep trying to find out something but Interplay is like Fort Knox right now with giving out information. I called them today, just to see if someone would answer the phone. It took many, many rings and then a confused really young sounding woman answered the phone (I've spoken to her a few other times). I asked her what was going on with the website and she said she did not know. Then I asked her when it would be working again, and she said they must be working on it or something and told me to check back later, thinking it would probably be fixed soon. I'm glad that at least someone is working at Interplay (who knows what is going on there right now), but at least they have a receptioninst working right now. Supposedly earnings are going to be coming out on Monday. We shall see. Any news other than bankruptcy should help this stock out. </blockquote>One of them also got an email from a guy at Game Gossip:<blockquote>"No comment" is the line this time around.
I know there have been rumors circulating that they are going to declare Chapter 11, be bought out, etc. but none have been substantiated as far as I know. </blockquote>Shocker!! I've got more and will soon post about it....

I had said before that for someone to seriously invest in Interplay (ever since the Caen brothers took over), that someone would either have to be an idiot or really insane.

I guess I wasn't wrong.

The investor referred on odins post replied:
OT: F.A.O. Odin over at No Mutants Allowed.

Hey Odin, thanks for quoting me on your board "One of them", I was pleased to finally make it, as us poor investors have been quoted quite a few times over their in recent times.

You say "Shocker!! I've got more and will soon post about it.... ". I look forward to reading it, (lol).

As for us pulling our hair out I can't speak for the other small investors, but I've accepted my modest loss and just want closure. Also pictures of a certain CEO locked in a certain Iraqi prison, they should re-open it just for him for crimes against gamers FOBOS has got to be worth at least 5 years for a start.

I kind of like this guy :D

Scary stuff. Are all investors vengeful like this guy? If I were in Herve's shoes, I'd change my identity, shave my head, get out of the country and join the rebel guerilla in Congo.

Then we can all watch that rebel group get utterly destroyed by their enemies, right? The US Government should hire Herve to join North Korea, a secret weapon.

I think a picture of this receptionist wouldn't be an unreasonable request.

Most likely she knows, but isn't allowed to comment on the website deal. It wouldn't surprise me if Herve and company didn't monitor every call looking for information leaks.

I'd hate to see what he'd do to their already suffering economy...

I'm sorry, but the use of Herve Caen against North Korea is against all Geneva Conventions. :)

There's a few possibilities:

[*]She's a world-class idiot like Herve or was hired by him because she had less potential for grasping clues than he does. It's probably because she looks good and can't understand why she's getting all these angry calls from employees demanding to be paid. Well, aside from Sean Reynolds, who is SO happy to work at a game developing company!
[*]Word of mouth would have spread most news within a couple of days. People must not trust each other enough to talk to their coworkers. With the French Inquisition underway, I can understand this.
[*]Herve has put a quash down on company talk among the employees, which to any union or employment agency is an immediate blacklisting.
