whats up nma members,i'm new to the forum here. i loved fallout 3,so i bought the fallout trilogy. i must say it was great! it was hard to get with the old school graphics, but the dialogue ,plot,& humor = awesome! so now i'm a bona fide fallout fan! which brings me to my point, spring 2010 is just down the block,so does this mean big fat delay?
 
I think it is very natural that they don't start hyping before the new year, with all the attention on the Autumn games. They probably wont show anything without giving some magazine a bunch of exclusive stuff, like last time. After that, I predict floods of same-sounding previews.
Wikipedia says release is around June anyway, so there's plenty of time.

The legal dispute with Interplay could also be a factor in a delay (at least a hype delay) as could Obsidian's notorious bugginess.
 
Isn't J.E. Sawyer the project director and lead designer of New Vegas? On his twitter, his latest entry is:
i have no clean underwear left. i'm wearing a good/bad/ugly t-shirt and tan owl socks. this is what it sounds like... when the devs crunch. (9:08 AM Dec 4th)

I'm assuming he's currently working on New Vegas, with the target release being spring 2010 and all. So, I'm guessing they might make the spring 2010 release after all? That is, if testing goes well enough.

Maybe some screens, or art, or whatever will be released in the coming months. I'm sure some magazine or website has dibs on first reveal.
 
I really hope we get it before the summer of 2010.

After all, since it will use the same engine and such, it should not take all too long to build the game.
