Ragfox has finished translating Fallout into the Italian language. Thus, the Project TIFONE was brought to an end, as Ragfox had also translated Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics.

Good news for everyone who happens to live a bit south of the Alps, I guess, and it's nice to see dedication to Fallout prevails.

So he did it?
Hat down to him.
Ragfox, you really should send your work to cgames magazines... Give your project as much visibility as you can. I personally know a bunch of people who just got mesmerized simply watching Fo1 intro... And never played it... They really needed an interpreter... We're not talking about Diablo here...
Again, hat down to you.

Well this will be awesome for me to brush up my Italian. I mean it's like interactively learning a language I kind of already know! Woo!

You see, I think my work would get some visibility only if they wrote a new review of Fallout, and I know that's unlikely to happen.

My hope is that they do something like this when Bethesda's Fallout shows itself to the world...

Again, hat down to you.

Thanks.
If you have some time to try it out, I'd like to know your impressions.

I have NOT included TeamX' 1.3.1 patch, but I've modded some scripts nevertheless. Just for naming a few, now Viola of the Cathedral reacts to the Player contacting Laura; Tolya the Raider gives the Player some information about Junktown; Healers of the Cathedral don't become silent if the Player tries to haggle over the price of the treatment; Jeremiah reacts in the right way; Miles now gives some XP (the amount is based on the behavior of the Player); etc.

Yeah, well done mate! I'll give it a go soon, don't have the time at the moment, but it'd be great to hear what the game sounds like in Italian :P
