Heh, more "look at me, look at me!" crap from Japan. I guess this is the consequence of anime, sleeping in drawers and having to ask your boss for permission to take a piss. :P

Also, the obvious: looking at he/she/it/whatever a virtual bride seems inevitable.

Edit: what also seems inevitable is the coming of robot sex doll gizmos from Japan in the very near future.

so, what does he do when the batteries die? Or even worse, what if his save game gets corrupted, ahahahah....oh the stupidity...maybe it's because of the nukes...

Funny you should mention that. That's exactly what happened in Chobits. A secondary character's virtual wife's memory/HD was corrupted and needed to be reformatted. Of course, reformatting means all her "memories" of him and them together would be gone(and in a sense, killing her), no? So the loving husband refused (our love would carry us on! kinda thing), but in the end, her HD/system suffered a fatal crash and was never able to recover.

Of course, if one was to get farther into the discussion, there is the whole ghost in the machine thing from Masamune. :P

I wonder what would happen if they got divorced. could he try to get all her assets? and would those assets perhaps be all the money she's made by selling her game? :D

on that note, wouldn't it be considered adultery when other people play the game now that they're married?

But isn't this guy married to the character in general, not just 'his personal savegame' starring the character? Doesn't this mean that she is in fact cheating on him with tons of wanking japs?
