For those that were following the show, CBS will be airing episode 1 of Season two tomorrow @ 10pm PST.

Will Jericho be back for Season Three?

RATINGS MATTER. They are the end all, say all when it comes to Jericho's fate this time around. Ratings will determine if Jericho comes back in the fall. Again, an alternate ending was shot in case the ratings are not up to par. If they are not -

THERE WILL BE NO COMING BACK FOR SEASON THREE.
IT WILL BE THE END.

I'm confident fans have done their part and CBS has as well with the great promotions we've seen (especially during the Grammy's last night, that was fantastic and they reached about 17.5 million people!).

However, it's so important that you watch LIVE if you can. I'm looking at everyone here but Nielsen families, you know what to do! Don't forget to DVR & TIVO the show as well. (Then re-watch it within 24 hours). CBS will also likely have the show up online sometime Wednesday.

Set your reminders and DVR right now! Tuesday - 10PM!

Opinion - Jericho the New Season

So, how did you like the new episode? I thought it was well done. Very interesting turn of events. A division in the U.S. with one self-proclaimed president. More conspiracy stuff from Hawkins. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
 
I thought it was well done but was hoping for some more darkness to it... Either way, better than most American programming on the table. I'm a happy camper!

I downloaded the leaked copies of the first three episodes a few weeks ago (we didn't even get the second half of season 1 in Australia). I thought they were pretty awesome. The turns of events keep getting more and more hectic (I won't post any spoilers for those who haven't seen the second or third eps).

Personally, I'm waiting for them to show more on this apparently obliteration of Iran and North Korea... apparently having been "wiped off the map". International reactions... maybe even some shots of the charred wasteland? It'd be interesting to see how many nukes were used... if it was just the military installations they destroyed, or if they carpet bombed the places with their nuclear weapons.

I'm right there with you. I was quite curious as to how severe the damage was in N. Korea and Iran and even more perplexed as to why the rest of the world did not respond in like.

I would assume that S. Korea would get hosed as well as other middle east countries and depending on the amount of fallout the entire world... Maybe the situation really can't be played out with certainty in regards to how other countries would react.

In an attempt to remain vague, I do hope to see those responsible get their due.

Heck yes, you've got to support the genre, nurture it and see what you get. Some of the folks involved with creating Jericho have stated that they believe Tim Cain is a genius; however I think it might be tougher to sell Jericho to the networks, without it being a little watered down.

I normally just troll the forums...because I only have a gmail account but apparently Gmails not good enough for ur anti spamming godliness form...ive been a troller for like? iunno 5 years? hahaha and now i'm finally registerd and part of the gig! I believe this is the begining of a beautiful friend ship mr Obama supporter 1.
 
Also, I'm hoping they don't water down anything more from Jericho. I don't want some network fatcat telling me what's good for the general public.

But yes, Jericho has so far been awesome in depicting nuclear attacks... except for the eerily missing mass graves of radiation victims.

haha I appreciate that, I believe the internet is the internet...and somewhere in foruming i lost all care for the grammar police...i think it's cause I hate the engilsh language im not entirely sure...I'm learnign italian right now though!! iunno on alot of the boards i "observe" some of the people get irriated at "observers" and have been down right calling em trolls if they refuse to register...i was just trying to get an email account that worked...but lemme know if the grammar police are down right rude here and need me to be uh text book status!
 
Not me frankly. I found it very boring after just watching two episodes of the first season. Not my cup of tea, though the dead radiated people peaked my interest for five seconds.

I have not seen any of the second season. Maybe it's just me but the show itself seems tooo green.

I see where your coming from, I hate the shows characters and even well i'm not sure what i can tell you i like about the actual show...i watch it because I believe the idea is extremely cool and amazing...its a savage concept!

I can understand that... there's alot of the plot that we could have done without... it's starting to feel more like a post-nuclear Neighbours than anything else. Sure, it adds to the depth of the characters, but there's such thing as too much ;)

I love the Hawkins character though. Can't wait to see more about his past (and in this case, future).

hawkins is the only character i have ANY interest in, my issue is i dont trust him i think hes a bad guy, thats just me though. every other character just makes it a fucking soap opera cock sucking twiddle ur thumbs and dump on her face event...its rlly annoying

Actually, I thought mayor Greene was awesome, and Jake isn't too bad. The whole thing with the Army now is making things exciting.

The one thing that would piss me off more than anything is that if there ended up being some kind of relationship between that Army sargeant guy and one of the woman... that would just be going too far.

Seriously. I'd have to kill someone.
