Jericho Returns THIS Tuesday @ 10pm PST

Actually, a really cool plot twist would be to have another country try to invade the "ASA" (Allied States of America... lol). Being that they're down and radioactive, I'm sure it could be interesting to see how it turns out.

I'm watching the first season now and so far its ok. I could do without the affairs and the amount of focus the romance sub-plots are getting. Also the music is a bit too much. I dont think I have ever watched anything and had the music jump out and punch me in the face the way it does with this show. I hope they tone it down some.

The music doesn't bother me so much - but those sub-plots of romance do. It's not so bad if it's like, starting a relationship and all... but that whole thing with Eric and the barmaid and April... we could have done without. The whole love triangle thing just makes it sound like a post-apocalyptic soap operah.

It's not so bad in the second season though... lots of suspense!

I don't know, |possible spoiler below|

I was pretty disappointed with the farm engagement scene.

That doesn't bother me so much... I mean, I want some character development. It's just when it gets to much that it becomes a problem - same as anything.

For a series on CBS - Jericho is pretty badass. Too bad Johnston Green died - he was my favorite character.

Maphusio - whats the deal with the ratings and shit? I'd much rather DVR something then watch it live because I despise commercials. If I don't watch it live then CBS doesn't recognize me as a viewer?

yup
basically u gotta have a nielson box that see you live
or they don't really care

unless there is somehow a miracle and they begin to count
dvd sales
dvr
tivo
online viewers
forum activity (esp compared to other shows)
and somehow consider how there are millions more people worldwide enjoying the show as it airs in their own country

(in Israel they liked it so much they had those big street side billboards with scenes from the show)

Man, there sure isn't a shortage of hotties in Jericho. Just when you think theres almost too many to be realistic that girl Trish from J & R shows up and suddenly I don't care how realistic it is.

The real key here is e-mailing CBS to let them know you watch it and how you watch it. They have surveys you can participate in as well. So far ratings have not been bad so I think they will keep it around for a bit.

I have not heard whether more episodes have been ordered or not.

I finished watching the first season and I have to say I see why the show got canceled. Its a great premise but I dont think they did a good job of executing it. And the way they dealt with the love triangles was just silly(exile for you, death for you, you go somewhere else for sometime). At times it feels as if they are trying to reach out to as many different ratings groups as they can and often lose focus on the plot.

I do think that they could have done the relationship side of things alot better, but other than that I think the show as a whole has been pretty awesome.

I want moer! Rawr.

That is an interview with Brad Beyer (Stanley Richmond) ...Yes I know they wrote his name down as "Stanley Richard" ...

Anyway there is some more for yu.

There is a good hint that things get darker in this interview!

Duuude.... I just saw this weeks episode... I think I see Stanley going on a murderous rampage killing Jennings & Rall folk... Just like Bonnie. Pretty intense.

Haha, I definately think that season two is awesome. Seriously. This is one of the few TV shows that are actually worth watching these days... better than all the reality TV crap that people are coming out with.

Anyway, it's awesome. If it gets canned again, I'll be really cut up. Seriously, there could be tears (10 points if you can tell me what that's a quote from).

Shit really hit the fan at the Richmond farm.

Too bad I'll be working during the next episode...

Gah.

TIVO my man TIVO. That or watch it on CBS's website.

Yes! Goetz is a goner. He was a dick.

I hope they shed more light on president Tomarchio. I really think the whole thing about the U.S. being split in half with the allied states and the old government is interesting.

Question though....so is the old government which is based in Columbus, OH now, are they like an opposition to the Cheyenne government or are they inactive?

Ten bucks says the hudson river virus was a biological weapon launched by the ASA. They could have been on one or two of those missiles we saw taking off in season 1.

The USA is probably in turmoil with the majority of its command personnel wiped out in the DC bomb. However don't count the USA out because it still has a fair share of airbases.
