t's really a tough situation when one does have a television but the show is not televised in his or her area... Better yet, its tougher in your situation where the only medium you have is the Internet yet, CBS does not offer those outside of the US to watch their programs!
On top of that, CBS really has a piss poor compression algorithm for streaming video. If one is to look at the other major networks, its stupefying at how much better the quality is.
Of course, if you are certain you would like the series, I suppose you could purchase the season as I have... But then there is that whole pesky zone issue!!!
Yeah, but if I've already seen it, I don't really feel like buying the Season 1 DVD, as I have a pretty good memory, and probably won't be watching it ever again. Especially as I'm a student, so money isn't exactly in great supply.
I also watched these episodes now. I think they continue with about the same quality that we saw in the last episodes of Season 1. The pace is up, and there is less boring character interaction (though still some).

But yeah, like a few others, I suppose it's moved in a direction that I hoped it would not be. I always wanted more of the rough survival theme, with more focus on trying to explore the surroundings. One of my favourite episodes in Season 1 was when the two brothers went out to try and find meds for their father. That was much more in line what I wanted from this series.
Still, I find it to be pretty good. Much of the bullshit seems to have been cut out, and it feels a lot more focused on tension. I wonder if they'll pick up the plot-thread of Constantino again though. The two brothers seemed very intent on killing him (which I thought was nice, not "turn the other cheeck" mentality from our heroes) in the first episode, but then it sort of took off in another direction

Also, I thought I heard a Fallout sound (when you open certain doors) in Episode 3. Not sure if it might just be a "generic" sound used elsewhere in media, but it might be a little Fallout tribute (if it indeed is the sound).
Looking forward to seeing the rest.

What really bothered me, what with the obvious lower budget and all, is the use of lower-quality cameras inside studios, which makes the whole thing look like a classy porn movie from the 80s.
Really, they could've used other cameras and lighting techniques, or at least added a little film grain.
