hi, this is my first post - so im sorry if this topic has come up time and time again - i tired doing a search but go no results.
Im playing on a UK version of fallout 2, but i've come to doing the modoc quest of trying to help balthus find jonny. I KNOW that children were removed from the game in the UK, so i patched the game with the child patch from the NMA archives. However - when i load up my game and fall down the pit trap at the farm and go into the underground slag town i can't find jonny where he's supposed to be (at the north end)
i have his dog with me, and when i go to the north end (near the under ground lake) the dog runs off to a point and then stands still - im guessing jonny was supposed to be there.
obviously i've gone wrong somewhere - so can someone help me how to get jonny in the game? or do i have to re-start a new game before the child patch will take effect (i did patch half way throu a game)?
