The Glow is/was one of the MOST interesting and imagination enhancing areas in FO. Dunno why...maybe I have a fetish towards nuked old government top-secret R&D centers.

Silly Question: Has anyone beaten the thingy (thingy because of spoiler danger) in the game (game because of spoiler danger)? Can it be beaten?

Actually War Games was about tic-tac-toe, but I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen the movie.

I think it's possible to beat the "thingy" in the "game" if you have a really high intelligence, maybe luck too. To be sure, just check out the dialog text file ("thingy".msg IIRC), if it contains a string with you winning, it's intended to be possible (implemented or not).
 
Yes it was tic-tac-toe in the end games :P

But somewhere in the mid part of the movie it dialed back to David (name correct) and asked him if he wanted to play a game of chess. Or was it the 1st time he dialed into the Skynet-Wanna-Be and it asked to play chess instead of the Nuke-the-whole-wide-world-game that David suggested. 8)
