Kingdoms of Amalur

Managed to put something around 9 hours into this game.

A couple of things that come straight to my mind:

-Stealth in this game is broken and useless
-The lore of the game is generic as fuck
-Side-quests aren't all that bad, same goes for the main quest, but still...generic
-Crafting/Alchemy are fun but nothing spectacular

The whole game can be described in one word: Generic!

So yeah, not worth paying the full price(which I did unfortunately).

There are some good parts. The House of Ballads quest-line is pretty original, altough for people who insist that only Fae can participate they accept the PC quite fast. A few side-quests uncover more story, but most are just fetch or kill. Bestiary is nothing special. Plot is standard save-the-world hero stuff (so much for choosing one's own fate). Really, what saves it is the bigger than average world and the good (but incredibly unbalanced, Reckoning mode is broken beyond belief, it's an IWIN button) combat. Writing is decent at best, characters are absolutely nothing interesting. Feel free to pass it up, I'm already tired of it. Back to playing ME3, demo I guess. Student strikes allow for way too much free time.

I also forgot to mention that- surpusingly -you can make some choices in this game, every once in awhile. :D
