They're just not all that interested in FPS-with-RPG-elements.

Obsidian seems to be bringing in talent, working on a few games, and seem to have found a good fit with Paradox, I'm pretty excited to see what happens in the next few years.

Yup, he put that to rest pretty quickly, which is just as well as quite a few vocal fans of the studio were up in arms over that move.

Paradox indeed one of the few good publishers. C.Avellone is great and all but he's better at High Fantasy settings so whatever game Obsidian develops (as long as it's not PoE 2) will be a gold. And if this game happens to be Bloodlines 2... Oh my...

Though it's very unlikely, i'm secretly hoping Obsidian doing another Fallout...
