Lil idea for FO2

In Klamath the "business part" of Trapper town is shut down due to the rat infestation. The famous "gun shop" is there, and I remember the first time I played it - I actually expected this part of town to flourish back to life once the rat infestation was dealt with.

Since innumerable playthroughs, I long since forgot about that expectation, and Trapper town became just another routine :I
How about re-populating the gun shop, and some of the houses around there? In the same "spirit" as vault village and vault 15 changing appearance, in order to reflect progress?

Even better - does such a mod allready exist?

There is allso a garage to the left of the trapper town!.. Wich sadly didn't give you much :P And the same idea for Redding's west part? The famous bar is located to the left "kinda" hidden.. Was expecting stuff in both places when i first played the game back in the days.

Well, with Redding I regarded it as just a bankerupted ol bar, but with Klamath there is such a clear and obvious reason as to why half the city has been abandoned (but I agree, on the first playthrough, I felt Redding was a bit too empty, considering all the intact housing).
It seems like a typical "unfinished quest". The street entrance is blocked with metal barrels, which theoretically should be easily removed, no?
Once you clear all the vermin out, it sortof just slips out of relevance. All that scurrying around the caves, especially in the early game, it deserves more of a purpose than to find that dumb little engine part :I

Very good idea, now learn the tools and make it come true 8-)

Thing is, everyone has great ideas for mods, but there's only a handful that's making them. I don't know of any "unemployed" modders out there, so I wouldn't really expect anyone to pick up on this idea. If you want to see it in your game, you'll most likely have to do it yourself.

That is actually not too shabby an idea either :D I got my plate full of my own little creative projects for the time being, but frankly, the thought of making it myself didn't even strike me. But after all, I'm just imagining a single map, it shoulnd't be that all-consuming :D
Thanx for the suggestion
