I disagree.

"He's hit rock bottom. Unfortunately for him, he's starting to dig." -Actual quote from H.M.S. Naval Officer Review

Honestly, I would like to see where I supposedly flamed him. So far, the remarks about him being stupid are quite applicable. He whines about how he wants why Fallout Online would not work, and I give him the links, and then he chooses to ignore that.

Ignorance: Not having all the facts.
Stupidity: Presented with the facts, but wishes to ignore them.

As I have previously (search for it) explained the difference between multiplayer and online to him, and he's disregarded it, I must conclude he's just a little troll, one that has slipped beyond the measure of ignorance and clear into the realm of stupidity.

This redefines sucking ass...

I should say "blah blah blah" to you. You obviously haven't read any of the posts listed, and therefore you have no argument. You accuse *us* of being bigots, and yet you do not even inspect our arguments, so that makes you a *hypocrite*.

>and
>i will stfu up about

*Sigh*, do I *have* to explain the obvious? Tactics is a *multiplayer game*, not an *online* game, you can save games, pause, and the game is, to my knowledge, turn-based. The only thing that could possibly be online is if players ask one another to play. Online games are *by definition* real-time, and consist of hundreds, if not thousands of players connecting to servers that hold the "worlds" they interact in.

Seriously, does your head sound like a spray-paint can when you shake it? Sheesh.

Are you from a non-english speaking country? Because I haven't seen such bad writings since.. well.. I've never seen such bad writing.

Actually you don't. You were banned before any of these so-called "flame" messages were even posted. You just had the stupidity to undermine the ban and return with more of your idiotic ranting.

Want to see the message that got you banned?

Shadowman:

When you are dealing with someone who spits in the face of Darwin and fails to comprehend the most elementary components of a topic to which they are discussing, then it's a frank but very truthful estimation of their intellectual calibre by calling them such.

In other words, you were right in calling him a moron, because he acts like one. It's not a flame because since he displays those characteristics of such. It's a differece from his calling people a bigot because they've actually thought about the topic at hand for YEARS and have reasoned upon such findings. In his case, it would be like calling a duck a cow, and then rationalizing such because they both make noise.

1: create a bounty system based on karma. the more misdeeds you do the more you are worth dead. this helps the worst characters get eliminated.

and if you get killed start over. tough shit people.

also create a class of characters that are ordained to keep things in check. such as a BOS orginization that goes out and maintains order. if one BOS goes bezerk and kills innocents then they are officially removed from BOS and their character is kicked out into a random place in the wastes with nothing.

now since the world is dangerous i think there should be an element of PKing going on. i also think that a level 30 killing a level 2 is whack and should be like childkiller. you get branded with that and a huge bounty is placed on your head. the cons would outweight the pros.

2: got me there, ill think of one later

3: just type your text. i dont get this one.

"He'd just say yeah, I won't fight you. Then he'd turn around and fight you. how would this work? "
thats the way the world works. its tough if that happens. this would encourage a freind networking system. this would help you stay safe.

4:What were the quests in fallout 2? go get GECK. Kill westin. Kill bishop. get part for gecko plant. find location of vault 13. blah blah blah.

look im sure people at BIS could create a story because thats what they are paid to do.

maybe one having to do with finding yourself a GECK as a main objective. look, why do people play everquest? not so much for the story but much more for their CHAR development.

Both of which would be lost in an online world. Not even Asheron's Call, who promises game events every month, can come to the depth of Fallout for everyone. You see, for every person that gets to participate, there are dozens that do not. Chances are, you would be in one of those dozens. UO was even worse, with the seldom events that Seers did.

You forget what mission are for in Fallout. True, they are a bit Fed-Ex, but they have an impact upon the story. Any online game so far has the same Fex-Ex quests, but they mean jack shit when it comes to the game at large. They can often be completed many times. Don't even think "They could make more quests every month, or quests for everyone.". Essentially, it would either be a load of Daggerfall-like quests, or it would be like Asheron's Call. A few high-level characters get into the storyline, and everyone else is screwed to go through the other quests. And if you've done one quest, so has hundreds of other people.

okay but i think you have to realize that a mmorpg would not really include a strong story element. i mean seriously i dont think that many people that want FOOL really want a rock solid story. The point i believe of an MMORPG is for personal character developement not story. i also believe there are enough people that would play this so called FOOL that story really isnt he point.

see thats where you and i differ in what we believe FOOL should be. you in my opinion think it should be like a direct port(great story, good character development) of fallout to the online world which would be hard to do. my idea is to creat a fallout with a lot of the atmoshpere but change things around so that the character building is first and foremost with human interaction second. I dont think story is that important when come to MMORPGs. i think that human interaction can replace a deep story line.

but the people at BIS are creative and may come up with something that you or i havent thought about yet.

Wow, you're a quick one. That's precisely the point we're making. You want to ruin the Fallout series by making some piece-of-shit excuse for an "RPG?" Isn't this why we describe FOOL as UO with guns? Isn't the reason Fallout is such a great RPG is that it stands out against the rest by providing a back-to-basics RPG game with a great story, plot, characters, and themes that won it the RPG of the Year award?

>see thats where you and i
>differ in what we believe
>FOOL should be.

Rather, should or should not exist. We *know* what an MMORPG is, and that's what we don't want Fallout to be corrupted into.

>you in
>my opinion think it should
>be like a direct port(great
>story, good character development) of

>do.

No, his premise is that it is not only hard, it is *IMPOSSIBLE* to have a great story and have great character development in an MMORPG, and therefore any attempt at making an MMORPG out of Fallout would produce a piece of garbage which would not resemble Fallout in any other way other than the guns and the setting.

But humans don't interact like characters in an RPG. They act like *humans*, and for the most part, that means you're stuck with a bunch of eleven year olds who spend all day building up their characters and killing other people. Or maybe they prefer going on pointless generic quests? Nah, they'd rather just kill people because it is entertaining. It is not interacting, it is entertainment that these people want, because it gets pretty damned boring once you've made your character so powerful that nobody can stand against you.

>but the people at BIS are
>creative and may come up

Why do people always leave it to BIS to figure out something? BIS doesn't make MMORPGs, and I probably never will. I doubt they'd even consider making it, and would rather have some other company do it because it *wastes their time* making *real* RPGs which is their specialty.
