Wow, you're a quick one. That's precisely the point we're making. You want to ruin the Fallout series by making some piece-of-shit excuse for an "RPG?" Isn't this why we describe FOOL as UO with guns? Isn't the reason Fallout is such a great RPG is that it stands out against the rest by providing a back-to-basics RPG game with a great story, plot, characters, and themes that won it the RPG of the Year award?
>see thats where you and i
>differ in what we believe
>FOOL should be.
Rather, should or should not exist. We *know* what an MMORPG is, and that's what we don't want Fallout to be corrupted into.

No, his premise is that it is not only hard, it is *IMPOSSIBLE* to have a great story and have great character development in an MMORPG, and therefore any attempt at making an MMORPG out of Fallout would produce a piece of garbage which would not resemble Fallout in any other way other than the guns and the setting.

But humans don't interact like characters in an RPG. They act like *humans*, and for the most part, that means you're stuck with a bunch of eleven year olds who spend all day building up their characters and killing other people. Or maybe they prefer going on pointless generic quests? Nah, they'd rather just kill people because it is entertaining. It is not interacting, it is entertainment that these people want, because it gets pretty damned boring once you've made your character so powerful that nobody can stand against you.

Why do people always leave it to BIS to figure out something? BIS doesn't make MMORPGs, and I probably never will. I doubt they'd even consider making it, and would rather have some other company do it because it *wastes their time* making *real* RPGs which is their specialty.
