I try to keep my soundtracks very oldschool and Mark Morgan-ish. There are tons of synths which create a VERY ambientic sound for that purposes, but it always sounds to sterile for me. So I force myself to destroy the tone and hunting it through some old scrapped out analogue tapes.
But also as I said, Dead Men was a great movie, along with the soundtrack it mutated to a astonishing one. In my older recordings I tried to catch this "different" note - it is always a different tone in playing just bye watching something and letting the feelings flow, then catching a phrase like "Try this, adapt that" and having a crap bunch of time creating a soundtrack.
So - to make it short - I'll PN you.
