Always been told because of the velocity most bullets move and the firing of bullet and subsequent ejection of the shell along with the heat in the chamber burns off the poison, the poison rarely sticks. The most closest real life example is using sawdust as nose filler in old projectiles. Causing splinters from non sterile wood and eventual sepsis to settle in. Oh and the 11.4x57 Spanish Reformado, but I'm pretty sure that's basically a condition of metal poisoning from corroded brassYes.
Yeah. Kinda wish power armored infantry got those insane 8 or 4 gauge shotguns for clearing buildings. Basically mini punt guns, would go perfectly with them using 14mm pistols as sidearms and miniguns as a suppression weaponsI was disappointed when the recent Fallout sequels didn't include sawed off shotguns with bird shot as side arms for power armored infantry—for use in cleaning unarmored attackers off of each other's PA suits.
IE. to shoot with reckless abandon in close quarters, knowing that the shots would bounce harmlessly off any of the PA suits, and only injure or kill those not wearing one.
