Mass effect Leviathan sales will determine future DLC

It Wandered In From the Wastes
I hate dlc for a number of reasons, most notably - i can't play games 1-1.5 years after release because i need to wait for all dlc to be released (going back to 3 playthroughs to do dlc is crap)

Bioware said they would only release new ME 3 dlc if Leviathan does well.

Any place where i can get a number on sales and on other dlc for comparison?

I hope it's not just a gimmick to increase sales.

There's no way in hell I will touch this game ever again. No DLC will be able to convince me otherwise. It's dead.

Patrick Weekes(dev at Bioware) said that there's not much to worry about on that front. You can find the post on the BSN.

In other words, yes it was a bit of a ploy to increase sales.

Not that I care at this point. So long as it doesn't dramatically change the utterly stupid ending, I won't purchase any story-based DLC for ME3. I youtubed Leviathan (which had its own story problems) and will continue to do so. There's no way I'll support such shitty storytelling and pseudo-philosophical BS with my money.

Did he say that before saying the leviathan sales thing or after?

Either way, fuck dlc - i have to wait 1.5 years (for them to release all dlc) for each big rpg to be able to play it thanks to stupid dlc.

After, about a week after IIRC. I don't go to the BSN as often as I did, the place is ten times the shitfest it was before ME3, which is saying something. The only tolerable forum is the multiplayer one, as unlikely as that sounds.
