Akella have posted the official webpage for Metalheart : Replicants Rampage and they have posted several new screenshots and concept art images, not alot new info but.. Heh, the name of the helmeted party member in the first pic is Robocop. I hope this is only a test character or something (having NPCs with campy names SI TEH SUXXXOR).

If you read once more you may notice that name is Robocor.
Little different, huh?
 
Oh some of those names that I put in are only what I thought of it, so don't pay attention to those...names on the actual image tho..
 
Those are some good screenshots.

As for being "too bland" You have to think of the setting of the game.. Obviously this game wasnt ment to be all purples and pastel pinks lilfyffedawg.

Screenshots of animated imagery tend to lose something in the translation.

It's more than less data, to me.

Losing the time relation of motion, deletes the visual power of changing textures and shadows, even if the pallette is earth colors and shades of gray.

Altho', of course, your vision th'ang may vary.

Like it. Yep. The only thing I'm kind of worried about is the fact that this baby is being developed by what? Russians? Mongols? I mean: check out the dialogue on some of the screenshots:

What kind of English is this? Is Pretoria a man and is that blonde girl sitting on him while he's holding the number three in one of his hands? Or are four men involved? Or four blondes? This is gibberish. I hope they at least hire a professional translator or a native speaker or something.

Anyone know the release date of this bad boy? It looks promising, if only to tide us over till a Fallout 3 official release hopefully by someone at some point in the future (I always have hope!)
 
I am definitely looking forward to it. Hope it plays as good as it looks. The russians definitely have a lot of good RPG games in the works.
 
Looks good, The in-game screenshots are pretty cool and the concept sketches are outstanding. The only thing I could bitch about is the interface. You know, those panels showing the Hit Points, the portraits and such. It's kinda plain.

Nothing worth the good 'ole pipboy2000 in both Fallouts...

I agreements. Baddy speak is stuff they ruins thing and stuffs.

Oh, you missed one. Look at the equiped items. One is a Magnetical Shield. Can't wait to get my hands on that... :roll:

This almost makes me want to take Russianical lessons and become a translator. Almost. Wonder if there's any money in that?
