Michigan Wasteland name?

First time out of the vault
Many of the wastelands in the Fallout games have specific names for the region, live the Mojave Wasteland, The Capital Wasteland, and The Commonwealth. I was wondering what names the post-apocalyptic residents of other states and commonwealths would call their regions, specifically people living in the great lakes area of the United States. What do you guys think?

(This is my first post so please excuse if I posted this in the wrong forum and the lack of tags.)

The Chimichangas Wasteland. The name was forgoten by time and people thought it refered to the Legendary Deep Fried Monstrosity.

I've got a similar conundrum in my current PnP campaign setting, which is set mostly in Nevada, Utah with thin slices of Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado. I was thinking about referring to it as the Great Basin as the majority of the map comes under that and Joshua Graham name drops it in Honest Hearts.

I guess it depends on the scope. I like the idea of using ecology as source material. The Great Lakes Wasteland sounds alright to me. I guess it'd end up with the same inexactness as the Mojave wasteland, being that even in our world that would include parts of Fo (e.g Hub/Bartsow).
