Modifying stats or quest completion status in save file?

Hi all, new here.

I'm in the process of playing through FO2 and I'm the type that likes to complete everything that the game has to offer, including all the quests that are available.

I'm currently on a 40+ hour game but I've hit a problem, I'm in New Reno and I've gotten the Porn Star status before talking to Mrs. Wright to get her quest to destroy the stills, so now she will not talk to me at all.

So what I would like to try is altering my save file to remove my porn star status, and hopefully Mrs. Wright will talk to me again, otherwise I will restart the game after punching myself repeatedly.

I've looked on the available mod programs on NMA, but there weren't any that let you get rid of the Porn Star stat, so I'd like to find out if there is a way to alter the character status through hex editing the save files. I'm playing the unofficial patch version and I can see that the save file is broken up into Save.dat and several .sav files that are started with NEWR------ (New Reno)

If anyone has any info on how to alter the porn star status, please reply, thank you!
 
Thanks for your help, however I am having problems getting fallcrk2 to work. When I load it up, I switch the interface to english, but I try and click on Slot1 (which has the screencap of the game I'm playing) and it does not open when I select Open. I tried right clicking as well and selecting Open Record, and that did not work either.

Every time I try and select the Slot1 save, it makes my computer speaker beep, if that tells you anything.

Well Vad's editor has a memory access error any time I try using it, and I'm still having the problem I previously reported with the FO2 savegame cracker, so now finding the hex offset for the porn star variable looks like my best chance.

Goddamn Vista.
 
A request please,

I've been unable to modify my save file because FO2 savegame cracker does not operate correctly on my computer or any of the others that I have tried. Unfortunately, Vista is the only OS available in my household.

If anyone is willing who has an operating copy of FO2 SGC to alter my game save for me, it would be very much appreciated. Please contact me via NMA messaging system if you are available.
