First time out of the vault
Going through Fallout 2 again for the first time in years and can't remember where a good place to trade items for money is. I thought the guy in Redding had unlimited cash to give you for goods but I was wrong. Anyone have suggestions for where to sell items for money?

What do you need the money for anyway? Isn't it beneficial to barter for the goods you want?

But if you really need the cash, I think the various shops in New Reno. The New Reno Arms guy has a wad of cash, as does Renesco (I think).

The biggest money-dump would be San Fran's shopkeepers.

I don't think anyone has unlimited money, though. They all replenish, but unlimited?

If you have a luck of 5 or higher, get your gambling skill to 100%+ and head for New Reno. If you start with $1k ($2k to be sure, even 10-luckers can have bad luck sometimes), you can have a huge wad in a hurry off of the tables. Hell, you can weight the 5 key down and walk away, most of the time, and come back a half hour later to $180-200k in winnings.

That has nothing to do with his question, Talisien. Please read a question before answering it.
