More metro advertisement stuff

There are only 13 stars on each flag (12 in the circle, one in the middle) instead of 14.

You mean the commonwealths? They probably just took the number Chris Avellone gave in Fallout Bible and didn't check The Vault on that (it wasn't until 2005 that J.E. Sawyer clarified that he asked T-Ray Isaac and it turned out that he simply took the original colonial flag with 13 stars in a circle and added an additional big star in the middle, so the correct number should be 14).

Uh, the flag was in Fallout 1 Shihonage, that would require some serious time travel to nick it from Jericho.

Oh yeah, you're right - I just rechecked Fallout intro.

I never noticed the circular star design until I saw Jericho... which apparently ripped it from Fallout1.

Actually, it's based on one of the early US flags, probably both Fallout and Jericho were just inspired by the same source.

Eh? The US never had a flag with circular star design.

It's had the Union Jack with stripes at foundation, and then turned to starts representing joining states in the same format we have today.

I'm glad they turned these into wallpapers. Thanks for posting. I'm with Texas Renegade; I really enjoyed the one with the monument and was hoping to get a clear version from the advertisement.

Cool. A shame the last one (monument) has all the angles right, except the sky.

So...Beth did a mistake?

some american you are

I'm...not American?

That's why you'll never be president.

Anyway, to the topic at hand (though it's a good job of derouting you've done there, Brother), I rather like the middle wallpaper. The first is decent, apart from that ugly green Bethesda seems to love so much, and the third is good, apart from the angle it's set at, which I'm not really a fan of here.
