MP3.com is closing down

KurganFr

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
I received an email today: MP3.com, my main provider of free and legally downloable music, is closing down on December 2nd. Of course, there's still BeSonic, but are there any other good sites?

Why, Ratty? Because I don't wish to illegally download music, and because MP3.com was home to many less famous artists who are actually very good.

Why not move to Canada where you can use said programs to dowload said music files for completely legal reasons?

Why should we stop writing only questions to this thread and start posting statements?

Why not not talk about using applications (which are legal) for illegal purposes?
Mainly because I haven't got the foggiest idea what you're getting at?

Perhaps I was referring to Ratty's reference to using programs for illegal purposes? Maybe this has nothing to do with your noble plans to download legally?

Is it true that Ratty has been told before he should stop talking about illegal activities?

Perhaps Ratty is banz0red?

Was I ever suggesting he should download music illegally? Didn't I only suggest using (perfectly legal) p2p services?

When was I told to stop talking about illegal activities? Why don't I remember this?

Why is Earth round? What is the meaning of life? Why did I incorrectly assume that w=(z^2 + i)/(z^2 - i) is a Möbius transformation in yesterday's Math III test?

Quite frankly, this is very sad.

MP3.com is one of the last bastions of LEGAL filesharing, and it also gives fantastic exposure to independent and unknown artists.

Ratty - you're an idiot and you're going to hell.

I am EVIL! MUAHAHAHA!

DUDE!

Ratty!

Where did you find that pic? I want to downsize it and make it my Avatar on another forum...

*sigh*

Why does everybody ask that question about "where'd you find that?!" when it comes to pictures?

DC++ (Direct Connect) is WAYYYYYYYY better (and more advanced/complicated) than kazaa or any of those other shitty applications (at least when it comes to movies and games and tv-series etc ;))

At least I think it to be one of the best applications for filesharing in europe.... It's like a walk in heaven for those who like tv-series, this one guy had like 1TERABYTE!!!! of different things shared... The only bad things about it is that on some hubs you have to share at least that much (varies) of some kind of file to be allowed in there :(
