Mplayer races

OK this may sound stupid but would it be possible to change the races in mplayer I was messing around in core/tables and changed races in mplayer I tried to put komodo in dog slot but only text came up in race change button but I couldn't even select it. So does anyone know how to change race in mplayer?

I'm trying to make it possible to pick other races in multiplayer besides the ones given. But I don't think it will work because of the attacks and using them, are not programmed in the game like how many ap's it will cost and so on for use as a char. but I"m not sure. And keep in mind I want to do this in multiplayer.
