Just a few lines with a few tidbits on Mothership Zeta.
Jeff Gardiner, Bethesda’s lead producer on “Fallout 3″ DLC, wouldn’t confirm what sort of weapons we’d be seeing, but he did say that you’ll definitely be getting more ammo for your Alien Blaster, and there will be new galactic doodads to tool around with, as well. As for the style of play in “Mothership Zeta” he said it’ll be “more action-oriented.” Like “Operation Anchorage”? “Just a bit more focused [than "Point Lookout"], with less of an emphasis on exploration.”
Spotted on RPGWatch.

Yes, I thought it will be a DLC with a rich story and a lot characters to talk to about quests, the mothership and the plans of the visitors from out of the space.

I figured it'd be a tribute to great SF works of the past like Lem's Invincible or Heinlein's Farmer in the Sky or Philip K Dick's Our Friends from Frolix 8 by being a quiet, easily-paced, thoughtful and introspective journey, exploring the essence of human nature through the lense of the other, using foreignness as a scope to truly tell a worthy story of humane morality that goes beyond the simple knight-vs-demon tale.

HAHA JUST KIDDING SHOOTING ALIENS ROCKS PEW PEW!

Btw. since some time now in my job, we are moving with our office to some other place and while throwing away a lot of old stuff into the trash can, I found some very old books. One of it was Stanislaw Lem's Invincible (german translated, Der Unbesiegbare) with original german cover (photo). It totally rocks because it is old, in a pretty good condition and you can't buy it everywhere today. Only pocked book with boring cover-things and stuff everywhere. Meh.

Just say'in.

How is that even possible  ? Even more ?

Basically, an alien shooter.

I thought it could rock (if I ignore the fact of aliens in Fallout), but this made me pessimistic about it. And it gets even worse when I imagine playing it in Fallout 3 style.

Yesterday I've got into a game called "Alien Shooter 2 Reloaded".

It's a nice isometric, sci-fi/horror, real-time shooter with some RPG elements and graphics like in Fallout BoS: Tactics (only better). With gore, blood and thousands of lizards/bugs/and shit going straight on your character...so you can kill them all.
There are even cars with a huge mini-gun on the back, which you an use to kill even more aliens!

The game would be awesome to play with friends.

Now, comparing Aliens Shooter 2 Reloaded, which was meant to be a straight-on action game (as the name says), to some cheezy DLC to a game that supposed to be a RPG, its action WILL suck.
