The guys over at Fallout 2: Mutants Rising (a Fallout 2 mod in progress) have updated their web site with some new screenshots and also posted two modding tutorials, so remember to pay them a visit and keep a tab on their progress.

Are there any mods that add new quests, towns, characters etc to the existing Fallouts (but not Tactics)? If so, where can I get hold of them?

Sorry if I'm not abreasy of the latest news but the Van Buren gossip has only just tempted me back to the fold.

Check the www.teamx.ru website. There is a great Arroyo-Klamath mod to download. Also check the FO2 mods section here on NMA and the one at www.duckandcover.net.

I'll give them a shot. The Arroyo/Klamath mod looks like what I was after. Is it easy to install and run? Are there more like this in the pipeline (in addition to the Mutants Rising one from this thread)?

The Arroyo/Klamath mod is very easy to install: just place the patch000.dat file into the game directory and that's all.

From other that kind of mods... hmm... I don't know other ones but I wait for the Mutant Rising and Fallout Tycoon.
