Damnit! No matter what I do I cannot get the simple thumbnail for Andrie Rubulev! Could someone tell me how to do it?

You can open the image with Paint and then butcher it down to fit the appropriate dimensions. More sophisticated software (such as Photoshop) will allow resizing the dimensions.
