NCR expansion between F2 and F:NV

First time out of the vault
Hey guys,

been looking around the Vault wiki but couldn't find a definite answer. Which towns featured in Fallout2 have become part of the NCR by the time of Fallout: New Vegas?

Additionally, is the Bishop ending for New Reno the canon ending?

thanks!

According to the Vault, locations of the NCR include:
Arroyo
Klamath
Navarro
New Reno
Redding
Shady Sands
Vault 15
Vault City

The Bishop Child ending for New Reno has been established as canon, as have the ending where the Mordinos disappear because of the lack of Jet antidote and the ending for the Wrights in which they turn New Reno into a civilized city.

Also the Hub, Junktown, Dayglow and New Adytum / Boneyard.

Though, there is something very strange with the Boneyard. I've wrote about it at the Vault, but nobody replied to it. So I just do simple c&p now:
I am a little bit confused here. It's written, that "By 2241, the Boneyard became one of the states of the New California Republic and Adytum became known as New Adytum." in this article. But in the timeline, it's written that in 2189, "The New California Republic is voted into existence as a sprawling federation of five states: Shady Sands, Los Angeles, Maxson, Hub and Dayglow."

The dates don't match. Was Los Angeles annexed and Adytum many, many years later? It somehow makes no sense to me, the logic fails. What am I missing?--Mr.Lexx(talk) 07:43, October 18, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks Hassknecht. So seeing that according to F:NV the Bishop Child ending + Reno joins the NCR both seem to be canon, is it confirmed somewhere that the rest of the 'Bishops takes control, New Reno joins the NCR' ending is canon as well? Ie would by the time of F:NV the NCR have gambling and prostitution?

By the time of F:NV New Reno isn't part of NCR, this isn't mentioned anywhere, but New Reno definitely collaborates with NCR.
Also, about New Reno endings. By 2281 mainly Wrights and Van Graffs, to a lesser extent Bishops control New Reno.

New Reno canon endings are:
~Bishop child
~Mordinos wane
and in some ways
~Wrights transform New Reno into a civilized city

Thanks for pointing out the error Lexx, locations from F1/F2 are rarely developed in Fallout wiki, I already changed this. Why this mistake occurred? The person who wrote this, must thought that Boneyard is a part of NCR is only mentioned in holodisk in Fallout 2, because 2241 is the year of F2 story.
