If you're worried about Roleplaying and not doing all the quests, you can just roleplay as a mercenary. I mostly roleplay as a mercenary who would do anything for caps. And most of the time i pick a special character trait that makes things interesting. Like being a cannibal, despising a certain faction, stuff like that.
