Neverwinter nights diamond edition free on GOG!

https://www.gog.com/game/neverwinter_nights_diamond_edition

Been waiting for it to get on a sale but it looks like you can't beat this price :P

Edit: You can also get a few other games "free" by checking in daily sharing shit on facebook buying games etc.

Edit 2: Looks like you have to click on the banner on the frontpage. The store didn't work.
I love you.

It is also worth noting that planescape is $4.
The Witcher is like $1.50. And the witcher 2 is $2.50.

GOG is WAY too generous. I've been skipping like 4-5 sales involving The Witcher 1+2 below $5 simply because I'm saving money for other games and also because I'm saving for new PCs.

Of course, with such strength comes other weakness, like being behind Steam on patches and sometimes (from what I've heard) you had to install from scratch instead of normally patching the game. Having only started buying games on Steam back in 2014, so far I've grabbed 2 games for free (because of.... I don't know, generosity?) on GOG, which is System Shock 2 and now this (Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition), not including that which I got from buying games during sales. Compare that to Steam in which I've only got 1 game for free (Amnesia: The Dark Descent) so far, because it's X'st/nd/th anniversary of said game/developer (I forgot which is which).

IIRC, GOG Galaxy exists to remedy this since it does patch games when newer versions come out. That's how I realised Blood and Wine was about to be released when my Witcher 3 was suddenly being updated.

On a somewhat related note, GOG gave me a free copy of Witcher 3 GOTY for having the base game and all their DLCs.

Yeah. I also had GOG Galaxy and patching problems doesn't really appear at all. On the other hand, though, they are still kind of behind Steam on patching, as shown by VD and co at ITS already updated the Steam version of Dungeon Rats, but that very same day even with GOG Galaxy I had to wait like 2-3 days before the GOG version of DR finally update itself.

The games i wanted to buy was either not on sale or a bit to prisy for my currently poor ass.. But Shadow warrior might be free for me just for doing the experince crap so.. Yay?!
Might install NVN today unless i find something els to do.

Cool, one more good reason to finally play "A dance with rogues".
And people still wonder why some gamers prefer cheaper classics over most triple-A titles. It's baffling to say the least.
IDK, Witcher series still looks triple-A enough to me. TW2 even can beat TW3 in some areas and pretty much kills most of the recent AAA.

I was referring to the even older games like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Planescape but what you're saying is true too. The Witcher series is one of the few triple-A ]series that actually seem to have actual effort put into it (It's very interesting to play through each game in order and actually see how the next installment improves over the last - In fact, most of my issues with 2's combat was actually fixed in 3.)

Well, Twitcher series is pretty much the definitive AAA of GoG at this moment, like Battlefield for EA's Origin.
Infinity Engine classics looks good enough and plays fluid enough even today, though.
