The second screenshot screams fanboy love! My heart twinged and my breath stopped aghast...
A vault either abandoned or broken into then occupied by people with simpler needs. The lamps and bench's tell of other people moving in...the stairs...it makes me think of that vault as more of a public shelter during the war than an actual vault, but thats extremely good as I imagine their were many of those before the war and many people would cling to them being the survivors may have not wanted to leave and let such shelters become the centers of new communities being that they were already that way.
If I can imagine the story is as good as these screenshots...then in the future if and when F3 flops (God forbid please) than you, Lich, and the Mutants Rebellion crew will certainly be the one's to save us from fading into oblivion.
Seriously games with mods can be revivified to the point of life as if a proffessional sequel was made if a new mod is the equivalent of a proffessional sequel. Ive seen it happen before...

Hmm, the mod looks interesting. The one thing I would worry about (and I do not mean to offend you here Lich) is the quality of English. It may be worth looking for a few "native" English speakers if you are going to release the mod in English. Or maybe a few beta testers aimed solely at the language.
