new consoles

I'm on my second. Just got a new one. It was the DVD player that burned out though, without even using it.

Wow, I'm surprised about all the Wii hate :).

I've only got a wii and it's been good for me so far. My friend and I play 2 on 2 Mario Strikers online as often as possible and it's the only game that I've ever been able to get myself into playing online... EVER.

I'm looking to get a few more games for it soon (I really want Godfather, Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime 3, and Dewy's Adventure but I just have NO TIME), but time will tell.

The 360 always looked good to me but the failure rate is way too high for me to jump yet. Not to mention it's expensive and I just don't have that much time that I would need a second console yet.

I don't really have any interest in the PS3 as none of its games really interest me.

I found that most PS3 games I really hate, and there are maybe 1 0r 2 that I would hang out for. The only one that comes to mind is the the Gran Turismo game, but Forza Motorsport 2 seems to fill that void for me now anyway.

between two systems can be a total pain[/quote]

They have switcher boxes you can get. Some of those switcher boxes have six ports in which you can plug something in
So get one of those and you don't gotta do any switching between except to press a button. Yippiekayoh!

As always:

Nintendo = fun.
More multiplayer, more fun with friends. "Arcade-r".

Sony = variety of games.
Less multiplayer, more fun alone. "Simulate-r".

Other consoles (Saturn, DreamCast, Xbox, Xbox360) = Try to keep up the close competition on the market.
Trying to be Sony and Nintendo together, not much success. As in rpgs a "pure build" will always be stronger than a "hybrid build".

That's about it.
