The project called Fanout have put up a spanking new design, which looks great! Here's some info about the project:<blockquote>Welcome to the official site for "Fanout," a project attempting to create a deep and vibrant isometric CRPG using tools developed by the original Fallout team. We are aiming to create a faithful rendition of the Fallout gameworld, remaining true to the successful and award-winning atmosphere of the post-apocalyptic setting, whilst still adding new features such as item creation and expanding on the original series' distinguished characteristics.</blockquote>Snazzy, they've also put up a new spiced up forum so get on over and check..

And more importantly, we wont have our fourms dissaper like with the old host :P

BTW, we should have a monthly press breifing up in a day or so.

ah it looks good. Though the taskbar (menubar? whats it called that thing on the left side) seems to take a while to load on my screen.

site looks great. it might make a name for itself who knows. btw the loading thing is java scripted i think. i got cable and it says that loading. it should all just load in 2 secs for me. sites got good connections and stuff so i know it aint anything like that.

The menu is flash if I recall right from when it's implemintation was being discussed.

Unfortunitly, it wont load when I use Firefox, but it does work fine on IE.

Also, it loads extremly fast for me, and Im on 56k too.

Looks nice, shame I didn't get to see the old one. Not being funny, but isn't it a bit early on to be worrying about website design? :D
Anyways, nice and ... er ... snazzy!
Keep up the good work.

Not really, what were focusing on is the fourms (and the team member section) so we can coordinate our efforts.

Fair enough. I'm just saying the mod is more important than the website. :P

Originally, our website and forums weren't really for the public. It was just for the team to communicate and work on the mod.

But it got rather popular very quickly. We are going to make a plain HTML version of the website, and clean up the forum topic display to be a little cleaner.

Aye it loaded up relatively fast for me (probably 2 seconds as you said) but I still found it rather annoying. But what the heck... I had to find SOMETHING to complain about ;-).

Meh, go back to the old format so I can view the site in mozilla :P

And like ender said, we mainly use the fourms for the members section adn coordinating our shit.

Well, Warpath said he's making a plain HTML/CSS version for the bandwidth impaired. That will cater to anyone who has flash issues.

Looks great and works fine, except for the font and bg-colours, some black on black etc..
Would like to see some in-game screens - any updates in the horizon?

Anyways, keep up the good work soulmates :P

We have some basic maps done, but they are first drafts. Screenshots will probably be a little ways down the road.

I'd also like to have the new .FRMs done for the new main character first. There is a lot of research and planning that goes in initially before you get a whole lot of visible, tangible work done.

But we are at work!

The main characther .FRMs are under planning at the moment, actualy. Could be a bit before I get started on em epending on what I decide to make.
