As you probably have noticed we have gotten quite a few new Fallout files lately, more specificly we have:<blockquote>
  1. Realistic Arroyo - Fallout 2 setting improvements v2 - by Human Shield
  2. Red Viewer - now up to version 1.6.0.23 by Red!
  3. Vault-Boy mod - play as the vault boy by Wild_Qwerty
  4. PwNaGeToWn2 - a new Fot Assault map by Lazerus
  5. PipBoy2000 skin for Winamp - by Gerko
  6. Variable Command Line Processor - by J. Douglas Good
  7. LIP Editor - by Team-X
  8. Fallout Bible (all in one) - By MCA and Cykke.
</blockquote>Great stuff, thanks to all the guys making these mods/programs and for uploading them to NMA.

I'm still having a few problems uploading the critter patch for use with the Vaul-Boy mod

I just tried but the fire at work blocked it. I have split the file into 4 parts using RAR and tried the upload section again.

What is the file size limit on the upload section anyway?

I cant remeber if I got around to uploading the newiest version of Frame Animator? Anyway its an awesome program.

I will upload the 'source code' (its actually only a Batch file) for Spr2Frm later on.

Lazarus seems like a perfect FoT fan...

There are worse games to be a fan of, tough i have to admit that IS pretty dumb looking.

Also, i'd like to recommend everyone to download the winamp skin, i was expeting something half assed, but came away pretty impressed with its execution.

euhm, thats version 1.2.0 it says

i've had a skin with exactly the same name but version 1.3.0 for ages... (of course it could be another skin as i cant look at a screenshot of it, but it would seem rather strange to have exactly the same name)

Yay winamp skin yay yay yay.

Version 1.3.0 (134 Kb)

Wow. How long did it take to get that uploaded ? I'm pretty sure I submitted it once ... or twice. But that was years ago. (and I guess I never bothered to check if it was actually uploaded. )

's why I made it ! Most other skins back then were half-assed. or horribly incomplete. Around the same time a "Vault-Tec" skin was created, but I seem to remember this being uploaded here on NMA some time. If it's not there (too lazy to check) I have it lying around somewhere as well. It's also very, very good. (still prefer my own, but that's personal) And since then, I have seen a plethora of half-donkeyed Fallout inspired winamp skins.

And yes, 1.2.0 is no longer the latest version. A 1.2.1 was made (but not really 'released') about a month later, with only a readme.txt update. (typo + possible copyright issues)

1.3.0 is indeed the current version. updated in august '02. adds the easter egg, skinned the AVS window (for 2.x only, doesn't seem to work for 5.x), and some slight changes to the spectrum analyzer colors. Nothing too earth-shattering.

I should get to work on a Winamp 5 version, but eh. Too good at procrastinating. And it still works, so meh.

-Gerko, still getting credit for 4+ year old work. (yay?)

been using it for ages and didnt even know who it was from. it does rock though... got the skin for about well, 2 years now.

thx gerko

I've used the Vault-Tec Winamp skin for maybe four years. At the time there were 3 or 4 Fallout skins, but it was the one I liked the most.

Hmm..I thought this was a new one, we still have 4-5 skins that I thought I had uploaded to NMA..guess not, so this is probably one of them..

New FOT Awaken (English) Installer is available

Odin, I have assembled a single file installer for the English version of FOT Awaken which I mentioned in this thread here:

http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9499

The file is on my linux server and it would be great if NMA could slurp it up and take over before my cable modem melts. Its tested and good to go, it supercedes *all* of the current English FOT Awaken mod files. I spent the better part of the day sorting it out and this installer is pretty sweet.

Just snag it from my server and post it. You could PM me to let me know when I can put it offline.

Nice, trying to download it now..

Yeah, my cable modem is blinking like an epileptic's worst nightmare right now. My linux server is a Netwinder running Debian Woody on an ARM processor (something like whats in a PDA). That little sucker sure pulls its weight, I think its been running 24/7 for about 3 years straight now. Come on 'lil Netwinder, you can do it....

I'm not able to download it, will try again later..

I'm running on a nonstandard port (13808) due to my ISP's blocking of ports. If you are behind a firewall or something it most likely won't work. The direct link is:

http://207.255.143.184:13808/misc/Setup Awaken v 1.32 English.exe

I can ftp upload or whatnot, I just need the usual info. PM me if you can't manage to get it. The file is so large that I can't stick it on my 10Mb ISP-hosted space. I'm working on a DSL solution to this stupidity but thats a month or so down the road.
