New Harry Potter- disappoints fans?

Ah... Now I know where I've heard Terry Pratchett's name... He wrote Good Omens with Neil Gaiman... an outrageously bizarre, funny novel :).

Back on topic... sort of? Sounds like Harry Potter is to fantasy as Diablo/Dungeon Siege is to Role Playing Games.

What I find interesting about them is that despite the books using language understandable to younger audiences and being written for that lowest common denominator, they seem to have become popular among a wide variety of audiences that isn't limited to just the dumb as a rock, bouncing baby boys :).

The Harry Potter series is best interesting and I own the five books, and interested in reading the sixth, but these are tales I'd read only once.

As for the Dark Tower Series, the Disc-World, Star Wars series and Lord of the Rings, these are masterful stories.... Especially the Dark tower. But the Harry Potter series took a turn on the dark side since Sirus Black wasn't aquited of his crimes in the third book and the inevitable return of a said dark lord has only darkened the mood.

Who died? I am just curious to know, who did Rowling kill.
