New Metalheart screenies

I hate to be a grammar nazi, but it would be nice if they improved the english translation a bit. "Welcome in my shop" and "Something interesting in the hood?" are a couple of examples. If English isn't their first language, they should get professional, anglosaxon translators to translate the whole thing.

I may sound paranoid, but every time I see a female character on the Box Cover, I get the feeling that the game will be a mindless shooter aimed at all those 12-14 years old who actually drool seeing it. Or something like that.

I mean, do they really think that someone would buy game because of the chick? Or that sexy girl it is such addition to the game? (hence, Starcraft: Ghost)

This is dumb response. Please do not reply.

It won't be as funny as Resident Evil unless they hire some really bad voice actors to go along with the terrible dialogue.

Marketing executives Koki, they operate on a minimum intelligence. For example, looking at a gaming magazine, I just saw this advertisement for Sudeki is a rather scantily clad amazon; with the capital "Pray for a full frontal assault."

Well, I assume the English translation is a "work-in-progress." I've seen more than one foreign game with bad early English translations that worked out fine in the end (of course, some that haven't either).

Come on, she's secksi!

Hehe, I like the look of this game, very nice :)

Unless they get a publisher they won`t have the money to have a proper english version, and that`s a real problem . Could also turn out to be funny though :)

The rest looks nice.

Cool. Very nice looking, and lots of variation. From a spacecraft over a modern laboratoy and a scraptown to archaic-looking ruins.

I am also looking forward to the "cyberpunk" part. :D

Maybe this "ghoul" isn't so super clever?

Yeah, that’s actually the first thing I noticed too. I can't see them not using a translator though, they are relatively cheap after all and they work on a contract basis. Don't even bother worrying about that. 95% sure it will be fixed in the end.

The game looks great though! I'm pre ordering it whenever it is I can do that... Apparently you can't create your own character though... Oh well, nothings perfect, it should still be good if the combat it done well and the story is deep and subversive. I have my fingers crossed for that.

I am attracted to that cover, although likely not in a way that would be described with the following terms: reasonable, sane, good, consumer, gamer.

It is secksi.

Well the error isn't just grammatic. It's almost a flaw in the whole syntax. And asking if anything is going on in "the hood"... It sounds as if the characters are starring in a Spike Lee film. Translators really aren't that expensive, even I could hire one. And if they can afford to make a game, they can certainly afford a translator. Problem is, they might be asking half-assed Russian translators to do the job, or a refined computer program. It could be improved, but I smell a Silent storm.

As for the game; it looks a little empty and sterile. I know it's post-apoc, but still, it's a tad Lionheart. I sure hope it'll be good, because long time no fresh CRPG, but I doubt it for the above reasons (face it; language and dialogue are crucial for the survival of an RPG, and if they fail at that, well...)

Women in computer games.. woo!

Let's make fallout 3 with a sexy big breasted women... Let us make it with the Tomb Raider engine and then we can have a similar case cover...

*ducks and covers*

Hrm... on the picture where your character is asking the other person questions... i wonder where the other person's dialogue appears? Does anyone know? Does it just appear right below yours? Does it replace the area where yours is?

And I think it looks good. :) The lady on the cover looks like she's got some real serious leg muscles. And the whole translator gig confuses me. If they can at least get the general idea of the conversation across... you think they could almost just ask english fans to repair it free of charge :).
