AutoAssault is a new Massively Multiplayer Online Game set in a post apocalyptic setting/world, it features:

 • Massively multiplayer gaming at the wheel of your combat automobiles
 • A uniquely destructible world where you can destroy everything that moves (and most things that don’t)
 • Realistic effects! The Havok 2™ physics engine makes jumping ravines, smashing through barriers, and sending buildings crumbling to the ground incredibly realistic
 • Unique mission system—level up while playing, rather than playing to level up
 • Unprecedented world map system minimizes travel time and maximizes actual gameplay
 • Dynamic map generation—plug-in modules, terrain, creatures, and spontaneous world map events allow for virtually limitless replay ability
 • Highly scripted scenarios: solo, group, and common areas
 • Gain fame in the arenas, create wealth by trading, complete missions to advance your standing, or battle for the dominance of your faction in outpost wars

So more a MadMax-RoadRage PA MMOG..

Market Niche?

Market Niche?

Pardon my levity, my lack of brevity, I must pluck a 'wit' from my steel toed sole.

Witness this: Siblings In Arms ...

With all these satellites orbiting about, I wonder if there's the possibility
of customized maps that could feature any locality that can pay to play.

This would allow "the gamer" protagonist to "act out" their work-place / road rage ''on the streets that they live''. Co-op and MOL play will 'lock and load' this title into a "killer app' " genre domination.

Why 'live large' in some hypothetical urban sand box, when this GTA / Postal wannabee could transport one to burning clips at your local "Main and 5TH"?

As entertainment, this content would dodge and gain cover behind the First Amendment.

As Info'tainment, this content could embrace "gun safety" and in the last reel: the essentials of preparedness in defending one's freedom, ... one bullet at a time.

A 2ND Amendment morality play, with all the advantages of product placement. ANY product, whether it be the latest in teflon coated ballistics, or the political FREE WILL that sees this consumable as essential to individual liberty.

The "cult of the gun" prevades many world views.
The Maoists might have chanted about ""love coming from the barrel of a gun"". Disciples of Charley Manson might have errored to a literal interpretation of the Beatles' White Album,
""Happiness is a warm gun ...""
The "cult of the gun" has all the allure of 'sex and violence' that fuels the blockbusters of political and media dynasties.

Whether one is raging against 'the ghost in the machine' or some dim bulb that was too busy talking on their cellphone to stop from rear ending, and totalling, your mint edition '68 Camero, ...
This content could co-opt the rhetoric of the 2ND Amendment and posture as a "trainer" for freedom fighters. Consider the movie parable of "Star Fighter" and the Plutonic Republic's harnessing of entertainment to pull the ideal state in its' long march to glory.

Least this "bible" of gun information and small unit tactics be perverted
to evil ends, and be turn coated into another "Anarchists' Cookbook",
falling foul to the terrorist trip wire, there will be ID tags hidden in the bar codes, micro chip tracking circuits embeded in the CD, and back door Trojans for 'social visits' from constitutionally approved law enforcement specialists.

All ones', post 9-11, "total information age"" needs will be met. relevant vendors will track, target and cater to your "special' needs. The Office of Home Security will follow the high scorers and offer "the best and the brightest" career training, or political RE-training. A critical defense contractor may recruit the shining stars for a lucrative position in police science and urban pacification.

The Global Village will be ones' 'living room'. The Game, a right of passage, for the inner hero yearning to be FREE!

"Only a Game?"

No Sir! It's a 'theatre of the mind' to expand and reinforce essential social skills to enfilade the emerging market of COLD WAR TWO!

The media mantra of ""Freedom Is Not Free"" transcends it's tedious Orwellian Double Speak, and explodes in a cornucopia 'cluster' of economic OPPORTUNITY!

Morph that passive aggressive pupa into a heroic saga that pays stock dividends, low-low cost healthcare, AND a 401-k retirement plan!

Spin your work-place / road rage into the gold.

But it wouldn't necessarily be pirated as I did pay money for it. :)

It would be illegal means to get software. We do not permit such talk here, and I suggest you simply drop the subject

This:

reminds me of the Warthog (?) from Carmageddon 2. Man, that was a great game.
I'll have to check this out.

I think this looks very promising. I always wanted to play a good MMO driving game. I don't like some screenshots, though - some areas and vehicles look comical and out-of-place.

Papa Smurf is a commie?????

Thanks SuAside for bringing this information for us. After reading the articles, it became clear to me the link between the "smurfian communist society", Belgium and Piracy.

Oh.... BTW. Who here bought an original copy of Windows????

It looks a bit .. 'clean' to me. Certainly the jungle part.

I agree with you. In some pictures I think they forgot the "wasteland" part of PA. Anyway it looks fun. I loved Carmageddon.

Getting off topic, either make a new debate on pirate warez in the general forum or drop it..
