I think it looks older than the Power Armour in Fallout, could the story for Fallout 3 be before Fallout 1 ?
 
Stupid question, but is this an action figure or just an extremely realistic graphic?
 
This is a3d model clearly still without all the texturing, so it looks too clean for now. When they put the textures on i think i`m going to drool like a litle girl on a boys band concert though :)
 
Montez: I don't believe the graphics will be like that, it's just a 3D model that they created. For pointer etc..

Briosafreak: Come on!! You do scream like a girl when you hear boy bands!! :lol:

Nah, it looks just a little more streamlined than the PA in Fallout 1, imo, it misses one of those thingies on top and such. I'd say it's post-Fallout 1. But it does indeed look pretty neat. If Fallout 3 is going to have such awesome graphics, I'm going to have a new and probably unhealthy addiction when it's going to be released. Hm. My new girlfriend should be warned. I'll give her a call tonight...

Actually they aren`t going to be a lot diferent from that, look at this, remove 1000 polygons and it still will be close to that pic, it has to look good because now we can zoom in almost until we`re right on top of the characters, so they need more detail than before.

Holy Hell, I hope not.

I'm sick of this "prequel after this, but before this, y'see its awesome leik that lewl" stuff.
 
I think it might simply be an unfinished PA model. It doesn't seem to have anything that's really new or different, it just seems to be missing some details. And, yes, I'm a big enough of a dork to sit here comparing it with the picture on my FO jewel case.
 
You know, if this *is* the final model, which I doubt it is, it's still possible FO3 will take place after FO2.

The power armor looks a lot glossier...more finished...to me, at least.

Guys remember that the game is most likely in early stages of art? So that means that this is just a model that has been completed and just output with simple lighting and no texturing. I mean jeez, let's not fly off the handle with weird assumptive ideas....
