I actually determined that when the Chinese were pushed back to Russia from Anchorage, they launched the Russian bombs at America and vice versa. :crazy: that's the story of post-apocalypse setting of the Fallout world.

Not that we can trust that slippery bastard. He's supposed to tricky dick Nixon, why would you even think of trusting anything that jerkass says. provided he (or the Enclave itself) knows what really happened.

Also, terminals and such from FO3 (I think) say that our we were fighting in China before the nukes went.
 
It's going to be whatever nonsensical idea that bathesda comes up with but it is now all the aliens fault, and humanity had nothing to do with it because theres no way we could destroy ourselves.

I've heard this said a few times but I don't recall running into anything on the spaceship that ever pointed to this... was there a recording or something I missed?

Mothership Zeta was my least favourite DLC :-/ I was ok with alien references/encounters but taking it into space was a whole new level of wtf.

Eeeeeh, that's pretty open to interpretation. It doesn't necessarily mean they're the ones who fired the nukes. I would hope they didn't... it seems apparent that they had at least some involvement however. Looking at some of the other captive logs, they'd snagged some military officials.
