I'm thinking this one is going to be move urban than the previous ones (F1, F2, FT, FPOS, F3 etc) Think of a map as big as the last title and its for the most part one big city. A post-apoc GTA if you will with NCR rebels and guerrilla fighters inside the city trying to take it over.

When I saw the robot doing whatever it is he is doing (if he is digging it will take him forever to get that buy out) I thought of Golgotha in New Reno. Also with the robot in such good condition and the city also it makes me think perhaps a robot menace such as in Fallout Tactics.

Of course it could be a optical illusion made by the aliens that REALLY caused the whole apocalypse as we learned in the last add on of F3 to lure people inside to probe them, and at this point it could be run my frosty the f*n snowman who's nuclear ashes brought him to life... Point is its vague for a reason and only the future or abducting the dev team will reveal the truth. (But I like that frosty idea)

It looks awesome. But the music towards the end reeks of Inon Zur. And if i find out that Inon Zur is the composer somebody will die.

The Hellghast are coming to the Fallout universe!

At the end of the day, this is just another meaningless pre-rendered teaser that doesn't show us one bit of what this game will be.

I'll hold judgement until we get to see some real in-game stuff (is VATS still going to be there?) with some features listed.

I'm reserving judgment until something showing the actual game is released.

I'd bet cash that it's Inon Zur again. (oh no!)

Imo the orchestral music that kicks in would be more fitting for a batman movie or something.

I expect the game to be more mature than Fallout 3, and it probably will be.

The guy in the vid reminds me of the killzone villians. Other than that this trailer hasn't told us much. Pretty much nothing.

As cool as this trailer looks, I just want gameplay footage - even some in-game screens would be great. That being said, I can't wait for Fall now.

Hard to make any judgements based on teaser trailer, so i wont make any. Ncr flag and that well preserved city of vegas were only two noteworthy things about it. And the fact there wasnt PA athe the end of intro. (maybe theres no Brotherhood, personally i woudnt mind if the game didnt feature BoS at all, or very litlle)

And i didnt have anything against the trenchcoat guy, i like trenchcoats... 8-)

Hm. I like the setting of this desert and the robot thingy. But then Vegas looks ridicolous for me, shiny lights everywhere. I also don't like the look of this trenchcoat guy, looks too "cool" for me.
But it's good to see this NCR thing there.

Trailer didn't phase me either way.

Cool things: 'Blue Moon' is a great song. Dude at the end looks pretty cool. Nice to see the NCR flag. Kinda cool to have it set at night, gives it a different mood.

Bad things: Doesn't really scream Fallout much to me. The fucking music at the end, NOOOO. Talk about ruining the mood.

That's what that guy reminds me of! Couldn't think of it. The little robot reminds me of the claptraps from Borderlands, but one wheeled robots like that are nothing new (and I quite frankly don't care much for that kind of design).

Speaking of "frank:" Woo! Frank Sinatra singing one of my favorite songs, "Blue Moon!" That made me happy.

It's a nice little teaser trailer, but that's what it is, a teaser. Can't wait to see some actual gameplay. But this I dig. Although the two characters shown, robot and trench coat humanoid, to me feel like recycled characters from other games.

Yes, and this "War, War ne....." again..
It annoys me, to be honest. Back in the days this quote was really powerful, now it's just a stupid phrase.

This makes me want to reinstall Fallout 3, load up a bunch of mods, and then get bored about a quarter through it.

I liked it, but gone are the days when I'd get hyped up by a preview cinematic. Also, while admittedly a minor point, I think the standard FO-intro formula may be suffering from diminishing returns for me - slow pan out from a TV screen accompanied by a fading 50s song and finishing with Ron Perlman. FO3 shows that you need more or other things than that to be a great FO game. I'd like to see things shaken up a bit in that regard.

Still, the NCR thing was a nice surprise...
