Newb Question: Is general Fallout MMORPG stuff flame bait?

Yes.

Thank you for asking before posting about it

If you go to the archived forum and scroll through some of the older stuff, you'll see why this topic is considered to be done with, and why we also avoid it as flaimbait. Not just MMPORGs, but all concepts of Fallout online (though a lot of people don't mind co-operative multiplay too much)

So no posts on this subject, thanks.

Ah. Well, thanks for not ripping me a new one...

I just hope my "not-having-been-flamed-to-death-ness" (^_^) remains with my next one.

Does that negative feeling apply to just Fallout, or all post-nuclear MMORPG talk?

Hah, interesting question

Just Fallout, but this forum is Fallout only. If you want to discuss other games, you have to do it on the General Discussion forum.

Believe me, it's a damn shite better than most people, who apparently don't take the time to read the forum description and start annoying "But Fallout online is so cool lol!" threads...

heh, i wasw thinking about the idea- thousands of vault decendants(u know what i mean) roaming the east coast... it just doesn't fit..
you'll have to change the whole story-and that won't make it fallout anymore.

the concept of MMORPG post-apoc is capturing though, even though it will always be a lame copy to fallout, and that's a single player game, can u dig that?

Despite your objection to a ''Fallout Online'' im sure that if this ever became a reality you would play and enjoy it. But yes, Fallout is more about the effect of one person on a post apocalypse america. Tens of thousands of ''chosen ones'' would require dramatic changes which would damage what is. Its a shame since the mmorpg market needs a change from elves and dwarves. Bring in the guns.

Oh look, you're talking about FOOL again. Next time - a short answer and timely topic lock, 'k.

It just invites the foolish, especially when they touch a topic from months back to add essentially nothing new to the dead topic.

Indeed, then we, the oldtimers, can poke fun at them!

Teehee! Where's my sharp stick. *poke* Dance, n00blet, dance!
