No more Fo2 fanpatches?

Stuff like EPA and The Abbey should probably be seperate mods. Fallout 2 1.06 should just be fixes to the original FO2 game IMO.

You'd have to do a lot of original work to integrate new locations, and they should be seperate additions to the game.
 
Those were areas that were cut from the original game so it is good to have everything all rolled into one mod.
 
I know they were cut from the main game, but I think certain players who would want to play through the "official" game and mainly want fixes.

The Abbey and EPA, while originally planned to be in the game, would be reimagined by fans and thusly new material to some. I'd be up for playing them, but I think they should be seperate patches.
 
That was already discussed in the appropriate thread in the modding forum. There were also links to alternative fan patches.

I also think it bears repeating that there is no fix only patch when the claim is repeated that there is, and that it's a relevant question for the community why there isn't. (It's not like it'd be more work for the modders to present a patch in two versions, with and without extra modifications.)
