Nook Color - Rooted into a Versatile Tablet

Where'd That 6th Toe Come From?
Has anyone done this here? It seems like a good way to get an inexpensive Android tablet with Wifi and 3G.

I wonder how long the battery lasts when you're doing things other than what it was designed for: reading.

Edit: found this on the comments:
@SnowballHacks I have only had it for a couple of days and I have literally been constantly using it lol. I have many apps running at the same time all the time, and am constantly connected to wifi to use google voice for text messages :). Even with this use, Im actually impressed with the battery. It lasts about a day and a half, so i just charge it nightly. I would imagine if you used it for trips and stuff, no wifi, a task killer, low brightness, you shouldn't have any trouble at all!
looks pretty good

One could jump on NMA in any coffee shop and impress others by showing them their $250 USD Nook Color Tablet.

A few issues, one with the Android marketplace, another with pinch zoom - though I have seen Nook Colors Rooted with pinch zoom. I don't know.
