NPC's won't attack anymore

Hello,

I recently started playing F2 again and have downloaded the new mods... they are great.

I've just completed Modoc, but somewhere in the process of going through the town Sutek and Vic no longer attack. it is as if they are set on coward status or something even though they aren't. They generally just stand there and avoid fighting or run away. Vic will say things like, "this isn't worth it". I've read that they may not fight if they are crippled, but I didn't fall into the hole in the floor at the farm so they wouldn't have been hurt from that.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

And you're absolutely sure they're not crippled?

Killap's patch introduces crippling when you blow up the molerat toilet.
 
my bad...

turns out they were crippled... I thought i had checked them but didn't read close enough... it would be easiest if each character had a character screen... oh if they complianed if they were crippled...

thanks for the help...

btw... I saw King Arthur and his Knights fighting the Vorpal Rat... I don't think the battle is going to end because they crippled the rat, but can't caus any damage... do I need a holy handgrenade to kill it for them?

Is there anything I can do with that encounter, or it is totally for show? I did see if one of the knights dies you can get money and fuel cells off his body...
 
Use the holy hand grenade that's in the cave, or just shoot it in the eyes until you get an instant-kill critical hit. Sometimes one of the knights will manage to do that.
