Nuclear attack in the next month?

Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
I've been hearing some interesting theorys that the missing nuke from the B52 in Barksdale will be the next catalyst used to go to war with Iran.

Recently on the Art Bell show an individual (supposedly) involved deeply with the US Government during the late 80's early 90's truly believes a target possibly outside the US will be hit with that nuke. The blast will most likely be 5-10 megatons with minimal casualties.

An interesting bit of information I have been unable to prove from that radio program. All personal involved in the Barksdale B52 incident have been reassigned and are not available for questioning.

Actually I was incorrect, it was Coast to Coast with George Noory (So, similar to Art Bell). Art Bell is awesome however... I love his voices.



Do I believe in the 9/11 conspiracy's? I believe there is truth behind most conspiracy theories. :twitch:
 
What's 5-10 megatons with minimal casualties?

Mang, the fallout of such a "small" airburst alone would be deadly.
 
<,,< 5 or 10 megatons isn't alot. it's pretty average size for a nuke.. And an airburst wouldn't put out all that much radioactive fallout.

Worst case scenario(and more likely) is it being detonated near the ground where it will create the most radioactive fallout. At that the biggest problem after the blast is most people don't know what they can do to avoid radiation exposure.
 
actually air-bursts result in a lot less fallout.

its ground explosions that generate far more radioactive fallout.

Not really that much. Read about megatons released during atmospheric nuclear test in sixties.

I wonder, if it's a stolen nuke, how are they going to move it? How are they going to disguise it? You know, "that nuke Israeli just blasted in in Iranian desert wasn't ours..." Lewinsky won't work to cover that, Bush would have to be screwed by a horse live on CNN to prevent anybody noticing.

True. I have this fallout survival handbook from the early 60's that says that a 1 megaton blast 100 feet deep will throw something like 100,000 tons of radioactive material into the air.

an airburst produces little or no radoattive particles, besides what is already suspended in the air (dust, birds, soot etc)

The supposed plan is to detonate it as if it was a terrorist act. They would then fake the signature and say its clearly from Iran and that this was a preemptive strike. Then we go to war... Again based on false information... It's just a theory, but I would not put it past the powers that be eh?
