Oh, the single-player aspect and leveling up is absolutely decent. Now that it's free-to-play, I'd say definitely give it a go if you're at all interested. From what I understand, the restrictions pretty much revolve around end-game and shouldn't affect the early-/mid-game too much.aenemic said:as for SWTOR, I understand the single-player aspect of the game (ie leveling), is pretty decent, no? definitely worth trying, since it's for free and all? I'm not one bit interested in end-game and this point, just curious about the game. but if I'm gonna feel left out from the very start because I don't pay money then I'm not going to bother.
Hell, I'd probably get back into it for a bit to complete some of the quest-lines for a few different classes if I had someone to play with (it's still more fun and productive to play with at least one other person, IMO, even for the single-player class-questing aspect). Some of the instances are pretty interesting and well-written scenarios too.
On-topic: I'm totally up for Obsidian making another Star Wars RPG. KoTOR2 is definitely one of my faves, even with the bugs and unfinished content (though with some fan patches a lot of that is even resolved).
